Meet Jessie

Jessie believes that everyone deserves to be mentally well, and that counseling can be an important part of this journey. She strives to create a safe space where you can engage with vulnerability and self-reflection. A core tenant of her practice is that you are the expert of your own life, even if it may not always feel that way. This is why she emphasizes collaboration and self-determination in the therapeutic relationship and encourages you to explore your own values, strengths and goals in therapy.

Jessie enjoys helping clients navigate the many challenges and transitions of life, and strives to be part of the system that supports their wellness and joy. Her hope is that through the counseling process you can better tackle the challenges that come your way, learn new ways of coping, and take steps towards meeting your unique goals.

What is one piece of advice that you would
give someone considering counseling?

“Take the risk! Sometimes making the initial call can be the first step in addressing anxiety, advocating for your needs, or moving closer to your life aims. I also would encourage you to keep an open mind about the process and the possibility of change. As Ted Lasso would say, ‘Be curious, not judgmental.’”
