Hi, I’m Keegan Ferris, MA, LPC

Therapist | LGBTQIA+ Support | Grounded and Collaborative

If you’re navigating change, identity questions, or just trying to feel more like yourself, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

About Keegan

I’m a West Michigan therapist passionate about supporting clients through identity exploration, major life transitions, and relationship challenges—whether they’re romantic, platonic, professional, or something in between. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients in the therapy process and build a connection that allows for honest reflection and meaningful growth.

I have a strong commitment to LGBTQIAP+ advocacy and affirming mental health care. My graduate work focused on multicultural counseling competence, and I’m proud to stand alongside a team that shares this dedication to inclusive, values-driven care. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered to bring their full selves into the work.

Therapy isn’t always comfortable—but it’s real. I’ll be with you each step of the way, through the hard parts and the healing, helping you explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to move toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

What It's Like to Work With Me

Clients often describe me as open, steady, and thoughtful. I approach therapy as a partnership—we’ll work together to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, uncover patterns, and move toward meaningful change.

I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but I will show up with honesty, curiosity, and a deep respect for who you are and where you’ve been. I’ll challenge you when needed, support you when things feel heavy, and create a space where you can show up as your full self—no explanations required.

Whether you’re exploring your identity, processing grief, or navigating a big life transition, I’m here to walk with you through it.

  • “Commit to the process of counseling. There is no magic word and no free $200 for passing ‘Go.’ I’m committed to walking with you through the healing process, no matter how difficult the terrain. That said, not every client-counselor relationship works—and that’s okay. You deserve a therapist who fits, and I’ll always support your right to speak up if something doesn’t feel right.”

  • I specialize in supporting adults through major life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I have a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy and am passionate about helping clients navigate questions around sexual identity, grief, self-esteem, and emotional wellness. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply trying to understand yourself more fully, I’m here to walk with you through that process.
