You’re good at being a therapist…

the business side is a different story.

Most therapists piece it together on their own and quietly hope they haven't missed anything important. A lot of them have. Let's just look at it honestly and figure out what you actually need.

What We’ll Cover

No two practices look the same. We'll spend our time on what matters for your situation, which might include any of the following:

Business structure

LLC, sole prop, DBA. Do you have what you need, and is it actually set up correctly?

Contracts

What your contractor or employment agreement actually says and where interpretation gets murky.

Billing & compliance

Insurance panels, fee policies, copay collection, and where practices accidentally cross a line.

Operations

HIPAA-compliant systems, phone and email setup, scheduling boundaries, and business policies.

This is for you if

You're starting out and want to get the foundation right the first time.

You're a 1099 contractor and something about your setup has always felt a little off.

You're thinking about leaving a group practice and want to know what you're walking into.

You're already practicing but the business side is the thing you keep meaning to sort out.

Why me

I've spent 10 years building and running a private practice. The messy, figure-it-out-as-you-go kind. I've brought on contractors in the midst of a pandemic, employed clinicians, shifted business models, drafted more agreements than I can count, lost clinicians, and had lots of awkward and hard conversations along the way. I'm not here to give you legal advice. I'm just good at noticing the things that are hard to see from the inside. Truly, I love finding patterns and solving problems.

Investment

This is not legal or financial advice. This consultation draws on 10 years of private practice experience across multiple practice models. For legal or financial matters, you will be directed to the appropriate professional.

Tell me a little bit about your situation.

Tell me what's going on. The more honest you are here, the more useful our time together will be.
