Hi, I’m Allison Waldron, MA, LPC

Therapist | Relationship Work | Women's Emotional Health

Let's make sense of your relationships, starting with the one you have with yourself.

About Allison

Relationships are complicated. The ones we have with partners, parents, coworkers, and even ourselves can be some of the most meaningful and most difficult parts of being human. That's exactly the territory I work in.

I work with individuals who are trying to understand why their relationships feel the way they do, and what to do with that. I'm good at noticing the patterns that are hard to see from the inside, the emotional dynamics, the unspoken rules, the places where something quietly stopped working. I'll help you look at it honestly and figure out what you actually need.

I especially love working with women through anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the slow erosion of self-worth that can happen when you've spent a long time putting everyone else first.

I'm not interested in therapy that feels performative or overly polished. I want our work together to feel real. You don't have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to be willing to show up honestly.

What It's Like to Work With Me

Clients say I'm warm, grounding, and real. I'll hold space for the hard stuff, and I'll also gently push back on the patterns that no longer serve you. Not in a confrontational way. In a "have you noticed this?" way.

Therapy with me is a mix of insight, practical tools, emotional validation, and honestly, sometimes a little laughter. Because that's also part of being human.

  • Take the time to find someone who actually fits your personality. I know that can feel like a lot of pressure when you're already struggling, but the relationship really does make the difference. I've been a client myself for years, so I say that from experience, not just as a professional talking point. It takes some patience, but finding the right person changes everything.

  • Relationships, in all their forms. Romantic, parental, professional, friendships, and the relationship you have with yourself. Our relationships are where our deepest emotions live, and where they can do the most damage when things aren't working. I help people figure out what's actually going on in their relationships, learn how to say what they need, and start showing up in ways that feel more like themselves.

I especially love working with women navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and that quiet loss of self that can happen when you've spent a long time pouring into everyone else.
