About Laura

A lot of the patterns that make life hard today started as really smart adaptations to earlier experiences. The perfectionism, the avoidance, the hidden rules you've been following for years without realizing it. They made sense once. They're just not serving you anymore.

I work with adults who are ready to get curious about those patterns, understand where they came from, and start building something that actually reflects who they are now. That means exploring both the light and heavy parts of your experience, setting real goals, and doing some of the work outside of sessions too, because meaningful change doesn't only happen in the therapy room.

I'm particularly passionate about supporting adults with ADHD, especially those who are undiagnosed or who received a diagnosis later in life. I've had the privilege of walking alongside many people through the assessment process and what comes after, the grief of missed understanding, the relief of finally having language for your experience, and the work of building a life that honors how your brain actually works.

What It's Like to Work With Me

Supportive but not passive. I care deeply about creating a warm, safe space and I'll also gently challenge you when it's time. I believe in both self-compassion and accountability, and I don't think those things are in conflict.

We'll set realistic goals, check in on progress, and adjust as we go. I show up reliably, and I'm not afraid to use a little humor to make the process feel more human. Therapy with me is a real relationship, not a performance.

  • "You don't have to have everything figured out before starting. Just showing up is a brave and meaningful first step. And if you've spent years wondering why certain things feel harder for you than they seem to for everyone else, that question alone is worth exploring."

  • "Adults with ADHD, especially those navigating a new or late diagnosis. I also work with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, shame, avoidance, and the patterns rooted in early experiences that are still running the show. My approach works for both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, and I tailor everything to how you actually learn and process."
